Viking Supply Ships core business is within the Offshore and Offshore/Icebreaking segment on a World Wide basis. The fleet comprises of 3 AHTS/Icebreakers, 4 Ice classed AHTS along with one conventional AHTS. Viking Supply Ships Ltd in Aberdeen operates a fleet of five modern and one older PSV vessel. Viking Supply Ships holds a unique expertise within the general offshore industry dating back to the start of the company in 1974. Customization and innovation, combined with a leading position in safety and the environment are key success factors. In addition to a modern AHTS fleet customized for ice operations the company has vast experience in executing operations in ice conditions and under harsh weather with ship’s officers onboard AHTS vessels an average of more than 20 years’ experience of icebreaking and offshore work. Assignments are completed in Arctic waters for customers such as Shell US, Statoil, Hydro and Cairn Energy. Viking Supply Ships head office is in Copenhagen with local offices in Kristiansand, Aberdeen, Gothenburg and Moscow.

Viking Supply Ships is a wholly owned daughter company of Rederi AB TransAtlantic (www.rabt.se) listed on Nasdaq OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm.


Viking Barge DA
Viking Supply Ships has a cooperation agreement with Kistefos for the management and operation of Viking Barge DA consisting of 7 flat top heavy duty barges of "North Sea Standard", dimensions 300 ft x 90 ft. The barges are modern and are primarily built for the offshore industry. Viking Barge DA are owned by Kistefos
